There are many ways you can partner with us to help encourage and maintain the arts in the Appomattox area. Aside from displaying artwork, here are some other ways you can join us in order to help keep the Art Gallery in our area. We hope you’ll consider them and contact us soon!
Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to meet people and make a difference!
There are many ways to volunteer, from building maintenance and helping in the store, to assisting with classes and events. It all helps to continue the ongoing operations of the Art Gallery. In this way, you will be helping to support the Gallery’s mission of fostering creative education, community activities and enrichment to our area.

Sponsor an Event
You can help The Art Gallery with its ongoing operation by sponsoring an event. Any assistance with the expenses of hosting events such as classes, educational programs or special programs, helps deter financial burdens. Whether it’s renting tables or extra chairs, catering food, or paying a teacher or special speaker, this one-time gift will certainly help curb those costs for The Art Gallery. And we greatly appreciate it!
A special notation on the event’s printed material and/or announcements will be made to thank the donors. All sponsorship gifts are tax-deductible.
Rent Space
Consider this very lovely venue for hosting your next meeting, lecture, small party, special evening with friends, etc. Aside from the lovely atmosphere of beautiful artwork, the Gallery has a cozy little bar in the back room and an outside deck. There are combinations of bar height chairs with small tables, as well as lower table-height, and some benches for different types of seating.
You might even consider our services to provide a unique private PAINT PARTY for that special occasion or your next business gathering! Contact us about the many options!
We do not rent space for young children events.
Exhibit Your
Creative Side
Are you a creative person in any way? The Art Gallery considers ALL types of creative projects to display, from fine art to folk art, to quilters, to potters, woodworking, metal work, etc. If you produce something interesting or unique, contact us.
Do you own a special collection? Perhaps it's colonial or historical furniture, instruments, artwork, and so one, give us a call. If you'd like to share the fascination of learning and creativity to our community, contact us! That's our mission!
Your Patronage
The Art Gallery offers many items, aside from the lovely artwork being displayed, for purchasing. We do not have a large inventory since most of our items are individually handmade, and replaced with new items as the old ones are sold. Consider visitng the Art Gallery first, before visiting the bigger places, for that special gift and help support our mission as well as small local crafters.
We also have gift certificates that are good toward classes and paint nights, as well as gifts and fine art.
Your Financial Support is Very Appreciated!
You may consider a one-time financial gift to donate. Your donation is vital to the ongoing ministry of the Art Gallery and is very much appreciated, and will be used wisely. We believe strongly that the arts brings joy to a sad heart, and comfort to a hurting soul. The Arts is truly a gift from God to lighten the load of a weary spirit in a world that seems to grow heavier with cares.
You may consider a monthly financial gift. With this donation, we will be able to plan for special events that residents in the area can look forward to. Monthly support helps us be able to commit to ongoing activities because of the expected dedicated donations from our much-valued supporters.
You may consider an end-of-the-year annual gift. This kind of gift may help us tie up any loose ends from the previous year, as well as give a boost for the following year.
